The Lexulous Dictionary Search tool is quite handy. Sometimes you just need to know if a word is valid before you actually play it. This tool allows you to do just that. Enter any word and we’ll search the dictionary for you to verify if it exists in the dictionary database. This ensures that you don’t lose a turn by playing an invalid word. A single turn of no points can flip a game in your opponents favor and waste the entire time you’ve invested in a match. Like the Lexulous Word Solver, the Lexulous Dictionary search also has multiple search capabilities. You can search for a complete word and you can also search for a partial word.

– “Is Exact” checked search – Allows you to search a word and the tool will tell you if the exact word is in the dictionary.
– “Is Exact” unchecked search – Allows you to search a word, partial word, or string of letters to see a list of all the words that contain that word, partial word or string. This can be extremely useful when you have a bad rack or when you want to play off of multiple letters that are already in play on the board at the late stages of a game.
